Our Process
We use the truck-mounted "hot water" or "steam cleaning" extraction process at Atomic Carpet Cleaning. Almost every carpet manufacturer, including Shaw Industries, the world's largest carpet maker, recommends it.
Inspection
We'll thoroughly inspect your carpet to discover the sort of fiber it contains, identifying any areas of concern.
Pretreatment
Pretreatment will be applied to any stains or spots discovered during our inspection. Please note that our service professional may not be able to remove permanent stains.
Application
To loosen the material, a cleaning solution will be applied and the carpet will be massaged.
Extraction
To clean deep down into the carpet pile, hot water and a powerful vacuum equipment will be utilized. Carpets typically dry in 4 to 6 hours, depending on the type of carpet, air temperature, and whether or not ceiling fans are operating.
Following the cleaning of your carpet...
When transitioning from carpet to flooring, be cautious. It's possible that the floor will be slick.
Pets and children should be kept off the carpet for at least 6 hours.
24 hours after the carpet has been cleaned, remove any blocks and tabs.
After the first 24 hours, vacuum the carpet.
